Maximum medical improvement (MMI) occurs when your medical condition stabilizes to the point where your physical condition will not change, despite continued medical treatment and/or rehabilitation. For example, if you suffer a lower back injury because of an accident, and medical treatment hasn’t improved it, continued medical treatment will not restore it. You may be entitled to other forms of workers’ compensation from BWC if the IC decides you have reached MMI and terminates temporary total compensation. These include wage loss compensation, percent of permanent partial compensation, permanent total compensation or settlement of the claim.

Our primary goal is to develop a long term relationship with our clients so that we can help resolve any legal situations that may arise.
